I don’t have time to read everything I think may be important for me to learn or to recover from my youth.
Conan Doyle at his best!

This review pertains only to the BLUE COVER illustration edition. Wherever there is an indented block of text, as in a letter enclosed in the story, that text is missing! I went to Gutenberg online and read those missing parts, but that is really not a good thing. ) For a better and free digital edition, go to Project Gutenberg and read the html version. Otherwise, this is vintage Conan Doyle and very readable, especially the medical section - some stories are a bit weird, but again, vintage Doyle. Excellently written of course.
Although I had read all the Sherlock Holmes stories, this was the first non-Sherlock Holmes story that I had read that was written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. They were well written with some interesting twists. Based on this collection of short stories, I plan to read the other non-Sherlock Holmes stories written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Since I downloaded this book on my for free, the price was definitely right.
I read this not realizing it was written by THE Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. What a great storyteller. The Man from Archangel is now one of favorites! I'm sure I will read it many more times.
